The State of Virginia: The Art of Sodomy

 This is a very un-Christian-like post so you should slowly turn and RUN as fast as your feet can carry your couch potato rump. Yep, I am feeling sassy today. All because Ken Cuccinelli is trying to make one of our hard-earned, American right to enjoy activities of the sexually explicit nature as illegal as killing your neighbor. This is something that affects all adults, no matter your sexual orientation.
  At this moment, I am trying to count on my fingers how many people I know who would turn away oral sex. Some may turn away from anal sex, but oral? I can't name a a single person who would turn away from one of the two forms of pleasure or even both.
  Cuccinelli is claiming that the law would protect children. We already have laws that prosecute child molesters. Why do we need this law?  We don't. He constantly fails to make connections that could repeatedly hurt the residents of this state and hurt his support base. And those of you out their denying that this won't affect you?

The text of the law states that "any person" who "carnally knows any male or female person by the anus or by or with the mouth, or voluntarily submits to such carnal knowledge, he or she shall be guilty of a Class 6 felony."- from theweek.com 


  I should have been arrested any time I was on the receiving or giving end multiple times per year. I can't give or receive sexual pleasure from my partner or give him sexual pleasure as well? Wow. Most of my long-term relationships would have died after three months. Ladies, most of you out there will not reach that explosive moment without oral sex. Scientifically proven. Should we just lounge back, let our man climb on top and just take it as if we are performing a duty? I don't think so! How is the relationship going to develop true intimacy without "carnally-knowing" each other? Is that not proof of a strong marriage? Knowing what your life partner enjoys?
  Cuccinelli may also be trying to cause hardships in the LGBT community, of which I am a staunch supporter. Look, Ken, I don't need to be dealing with the ire of my sex-deprived queens and divas in or out of work. I enjoy their company because they have such a wonderful view of life and a helluva attitude. We all want to be happy and gay together. 
  You want this law to be for child molestation? Kill the first line. Take away "a" and make "b" the new "a". It would be better would be to combine the last two sections of this law with any other child molestation law already on the books. 
  I know I am being far more honest than necessary but I think we should talk about these things more often. Sex should not be taboo. It should be honest, engaging, and enjoyable. One day, we may evolve enough to never need sex. I don't want to live in that world. As sentient beings, we don't need to digress to the way the birds and bees do it. We do it because it boosts feel-good hormones. And let me tell you, there a lot of people that need to get laid, daily. I like what I like in the bedroom and I want to enjoy those experiences from an open-minded partner. I want the ability to express my version of love to that special someone. We all do. 
  You're probably sitting there, reading this, and thinking why in the world are you bringing this up now?!?! I had a dream last night. I was discussing policy and politics with Ken and it was the first thing on my mind this morning. We are evolving beautifully right now. Are we going to let one man screw it up for us?

  The fact of the matter is that I am moving for the third time in four years. It's a process that is annoying and overwhelming. Rural Retreat 2018

How I get past depression.

       Depression and I have spent a lot of quality time together over the years. We know as much about each other in the same way the most intimate of lovers knows every line, curve, and secret. Depression is not a welcome lover and known to attack when you least want to endure it's pain and memories.   I can recount the days that I lovingly gazed upon the gleaming silver blade of a knife, or held onto a bottle of prescription pills too long, or thought about how lovely it would be to wrap my truck around the thickest oak tree at the side of the road in the experimental attempt to meld metal, flesh, and wood.
